About this event
About the event
In the week of March 7 Friends of the Earth are co-ordinating a national local group action against the Cumbrian coal mine, as we wait for a decision following the Planning Inquiry last Autumn from Michael Gove MP, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
Join us for a planning session on how to join in this important campaign and take action in your local area as well as support our local campaign groups in West Cumbria.
Who is this for?
This session is for local Friends of the Earth and Climate Action groups interested in taking part in the day of action on 11 March or wanting to find out more.
What to expect
There'll be an update on the issue and action plans, and breakout rooms to share ideas for the day. You’ll also hear from West Cumbria campaigners about the campaign, and how you’ll be helping them make the difference. We’ll also share how you’ll be able to order campaign materials to use in your local action.
Accessibility
During this webinar we will use Powerpoint and breakout rooms.
Please let us know via the booking form if you have any accessibility requirements and if booking the session is difficult for you get in touch with us on community@foe.co.uk for help.
